Background
Why this practice exists.
Twelve years in nursing taught Peta Watkins one thing above all: the care that changes outcomes is preventative, and it happens in the outpatient setting — long before anyone ends up in a hospital bed.
She began as a certified nursing assistant while working through her undergraduate degree, then spent years as a registered nurse across Tampa Bay hospitals — neurology, medical-surgical, telemetry, and maternal-child — and served as a preceptor, training the nurses coming up behind her. That range is unusual, and it shows in how she reads a patient. She has seen these conditions caught early, and she has seen what they look like when they weren't.
She moved into outpatient primary care deliberately, and built her practice around adults and older adults managing real conditions over real time — the population she knows best after more than a decade in geriatric nursing. Her focus is primary care, metabolic and weight management, and the chronic conditions that need someone actually watching them between visits.

How care is practiced here
Four commitments,
held to in every visit.
These aren't marketing lines. They're the operating rules of the practice, and patients are welcome to hold us to them.
01
Time that fits the problem
A new metabolic evaluation does not fit in the same slot as a refill. Visits are scheduled by what the problem actually needs.
02
Say what's true
Including when the honest answer is "this isn't right for you," "this needs to be seen in person," or "I don't know yet — let's get the labs."
03
The plan is written down
You leave every visit with the plan in your portal — what we're doing, why, what we're watching for, and when we check again.
04
Nothing sold for its own sake
No supplement lines, no bundled add-ons, no auto-renewals designed to be hard to cancel. Clinical decisions stay clinical.
Licensure
Four states.
Florida first.
A clinician can only treat patients located in a state where they hold an active license. Florida is open now; the remaining states go live as scheduling and scheduling is set up in each.
- FL
- TX
- CA
- NY
You must be physically located in a licensed state at the time of your visit. Licenses can be verified through each state's board of nursing.
The practice
Independently owned
Not a venture-backed platform routing you to whoever is on shift. This is a nurse practitioner's own practice.
Growing deliberately
Additional nurse practitioners join as demand supports it — trained into the same standards, not bolted on to hit a volume number. Join the team
Built on secure infrastructure
Scheduling, records, video, and billing all run inside a HIPAA-compliant platform under a signed Business Associate Agreement.
